1.Function of the torque limiters;The torque limiter,designed for sizes 050-063-075-090 in the worm gear output position,assures the protection of the transmission from accidental high overloads which could damage the gearbox and the power transmission components.For necessarity,it can prevent the irreversibile conditions of the worm gear unit by opportunely loosening the lock nut.

2.Features,external dimensions are almost the same as the version without torque limiter. -no difference of the mountings. -no difference of the hollow output shaft diameter with respect to the standard gearbox. -the slipping torque can be easily adjusted by means of an external ring nut. -no maintenance required on slipping components. -functional features are the same as standard version

3.Torque adjustment

The adjustment is carried out during assembly at about 80% of the nominal torque reported in the catalogue. This torque is transmitted by friction and so many factors could influence the adjustment value, like: temperature, running-in, vibrations, etc., therefore it is advised to adjust the torque limit by means of the lock nut when installing the gearbox on the machine, in accordance to application requirements.

4.Dimensions and positions of the torque limiters for the available models,

Package for RV worm reducers,

1.For air cargo or samples by courier,the goods will be packed in carton boxes;

2.For sea delivery,each single unit is packed in carton box,then several dozens of carton boxes in wooden pallet so as to protect the goods from being damaged.
