(2) Ordinary worm gear sets use the worm to move radially to adjust the meshing backlash, thereby changing the center distance of the transmission pair. From the perspective of the meshing principle, it is unreasonable because changing the center distance will cause the tooth surface contact to become worse.
(3) The precision non-clearance double-lead worm uses a grinding adjustment ring to control the adjustment amount, which is accurate, convenient and reliable;
(4) The worm of the precision non-clearance double-lead worm gear pair is supported on the support. It is only necessary to ensure that the support center line coincides with the middle section of the worm gear. The tolerance of the center distance can be slightly relaxed. When assembling, use an adjusting ring to obtain a suitable meshing side This is something that ordinary worm gears cannot do.
